Conference Realignment, Breakdown or Chaos

This week has been interesting to say the least.  Or is that the Big Least?  On the heels of Dave Gavitt’s passing, the stars–or conferences–realign.  I have more questions than answers at this point.  Pitt and Syracuse bolt for bucks to the ACC.  Jim Boeheim doesn’t like it.  I thought the craziness would be limited to the PAC 10 turn 12 turn ?  Now Texas and Kansas are moving to the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference?)  I think student-athletes are soon going to require new lessons in geography.  This is the sports equivalent of political redistricting but these districts make even less sense.  Remember the sweet ad on ESPN during Rivalry Week where the Georgetown and Syracuse fans ate their fare at the bar and reveled in their rivalry.  Pulling GU and ‘Cuse apart is like tearing up Duke and UNC.  I invite many comments here and let’s get to the bottom of this together …
